New Features (Public/Organisation Facing)

Login/Forgot Password Process

A forgot password feature has been added to the organisation log in portal.

Clicking the 'Forgot your password?' link will redirect the user to a screen prompting them to enter their organisation email.

Upon submitting the organisation email, the user will receive an 'Reset Password' email.

Clicking the link, in the 'Reset Password' email will redirect the user to a screen where they can create a new password for their organisation log in.

Once a new password has been set, the user can proceed to the organisation log in page.

Field Validation identifies Invalid Characters

To enable the applicant to progress through the online application with ease, invalid characters in all free text boxes will now be identified and presented in the error message. This enables the user to change their input and complete the form fields successfully.

£1,501 or Greater (Claim Amount Validation)

To ensure applicant is applying for appropriate claim amount and expectations are met initially, a sifting question has been added to the beginning of the application.

Q. "How much funding are you applying for?"

Hint Text: "Enter the amount of funding you are requesting for this project from The Executive Office."

Applicant must enter a value of £1,501 or more to pass validation and proceed with application.

If the applicant enters a value of less than £1,501 an error message will display. The applicant will be unable to proceed until a value of £1501.00 or greater has been entered.

System Time Out

To protected applications from security risk, a session time out feature has beed added. If a user leaves an application open for more than 25 minutes with no activity, a system countdown message will display. This will be a 5 minute countdown warning message stating that after 30 minutes of inactivity the webpage will be closed. This will ensure that any unsaved work can be maintained and not lost by an unexpected system/application closure.

Grant Deadline Time & Date Cut Off

The system is now preventing users from creating an application after the date and time deadline has expired.

The 'Select grant' dropdown list will display no options for the user to select.

If a user is completing an application and the submission deadline is approaching, a warning message will be presented to the user.

The system is now preventing users from submitting a saved application after the date and time deadline has expired, the user will be notified by a warning message at the top of the screen.

In the 'Funding applications' view, once the date and time deadline has expired the 'Edit' button which is displayed in the right hand side of the screen will turn to a 'View' button disabling the user's ability to edit and submit their 'In progress' application(s).

The message at the top of the screen will highlight to the user that applications in progress are not automatically submitted.

Mandatory Cost / Claim Entries

To ensure field validations are met with ease, when an amount is required against a claim item, the field will prompt the user to enter an amount. If no amount is entered an error message will be displayed advising where no value is associated a £0.00 amount is to be entered.

Application PDF upon Submission

Once an application has been submitted there is a new 'Download application to PDF' button. Clicking this button, will download a pdf version of the submitted application onto the users local device.

New Features (Admin Facing)

Scroll Bar Access

Enhancements have been made to scroll bars across the admin platform. The scroll bar is now more accessible at the bottom and right hand side of the grid views.

Telephone Number Inclusion on PDF

The telephone number will now be displayed on the pdf for both public/organisation and admin side. This will allow users to verify that the correct contact number was provided during the application process.

Print/Download PDF Feature

A new printing feature has been added to the 'Funding applications' view.

This enables admin to view/download and print the application pdf as required.
