Service Administration

This page contains details of the roles and configuration available to the Notify Service Administrator. Instructions for maintaining these are given in the platform Administration Guides

User Roles

User Type	Role	Description
Service User	ServiceUser	This user has visibility and editing capabilities of the Vacancy Manager admin site
Service Administrator	ServiceAdmin	This role allows a user to provision additional users for service and has elevated permissions in the platform

Service Roles

User Type	Role	Description
Notify Administrator	NotifyAdmin	This role allows a user to provision additional Notify Instances for the service and has elevated permissions in the platform
Template Administrator	TemplateAdmin	This role allows a user to manage and maintain the email templates
Static Data Administrator	StaticDataAdmin	This role allows the user to manage and maintain any configurable text or dropdown lists displayed to users on the service.

Note

These roles can be granted singly, together or in conjunction with other roles.

Email Templates

Email substitution parameters

In the Edit Email Template screen, the user is able to edit the 'From Address,' 'Subject,' 'Bcc List,' and 'Template Content.'

Any text which appears within curly parenthesis {} is a variable which will be replaced by real data when the email is sent. The parameters that have been set up for the email templates are:

Once saved, the changes will take effect immediately – therefore any emails issued by the service from this point onwards will contain the changes saved by the TemplateAdmin.
