Allocation
This functionality allows admins to allocate Request It transactions to specific service users for processing/response if required.
This functionality is optional and its usage will depend on the needs of the business.
Note
Allocated transactions can still be seen and actioned by other users.
Allocating a transaction to a user
Allocation is available to the Service Admin role.
From the left-hand navigation bar, click the Allocations menu item
To Allocate a transaction
- check the box next the transaction you wish to allocate.
- checking 1 box will select 1 transaction to be allocated
- checking multiple boxes will select multiple transactions to be allocated
- click the Allocate button to navigate to the Available Users
- click the Select button next to the user you want to allocate the transaction(s) to
- click the Allocate button at the bottom of the screen to complete, which will:
- set the Allocated User on applicable transactions to the selected user
- update the applicable transaction history
To Unallocate a transaction
- check the box next to an allocated transaction
- click the red Unallocate button
- confirm the action by clicking the Confirm button to complete the action and:
- remove the Allocated User on applicable transactions
- update the applicable transaction history
Viewing allocations
Once a transaction has been assigned to a service user, they will be able to see it in their My Transactions menu item, along with any other transactions allocated to them.
Their name will appear beside the transaction in which ever of the transactions lists that it appears in (depending on when it was received).
