Templates
Currently there are two email templates set up within the system:
10946 CareersSubmitted - This email is sent to the student once they have submitted their online student form.
10947 CareersEmailActionPlan - This email is sent to the student and school contact when the adviser generates and emails the student action plan.
In the Edit Email Template screen, the user is able to edit the 'From Address,' 'Subject,' 'Bcc List,' and 'Template Content.'
Any text which appears within curly parenthesis {} is a variable which will be replaced by real data when the email is sent. The parameters that have been set up for the email templates are:
{name} - student full name
{referencenumber} - unique reference number attached to an application on submission
{className} - student class name
{interviewdate} - date adviser selects for interview in 'Interview Notes' panel
{advisermessage} - message imputed by adviser in 'Email Action Plan'
Once saved, the changes will take effect immediately – therefore any emails issued by the service from this point onwards will contain the changes saved by the TemplateAdmin.
