Quick Start for the Careers Service

The Careers Service online student application form and administrative system consists of:

• a Public (student) online application to allow students to submit their careers preference information. This site application also allows the student access to a feedback form and their action plan at the appropriate time.

• The Careers Service Admin system is accessible on the digital transaction toolkit to authorised NICS staff.

Personnel who have been authorised to use the admin system will be able to administrate, process submitted applications, view and action feedback and other administrative tasks according to their role.

The admin system is accessible to a number of different roles, please see the documentation for your role:

• Service Admin
• Careers Administrator
• Careers Adviser
• Careers Managers
• Feedback Administrator

The application forms will be completed by students (year 11/12) and submitted directly to the Careers Service Admin system. It is from within this system that Careers Advisers will be able to view and process each application according to its school.
