New Features
Validate User Before Beginning Appeal
To ensure a user is validated before an online appeal is submitted the user journey has been updated.
Verify Email Screen
A new landing screen has been added. User must enter email address twice and click 'Verify.'
The following screen will be displayed advising the user a verification code has been sent to them via email
If the user enters an invalid email or the email addresses do not match an error message will display and the user will be unable to proceed.
Verification Email
User will receive a verification email containing unique code.
Validate User
User is required to enter code and click 'Submit.'
Note
If user did not receive a code via email they can select 'Send new code' to trigger another email.
Once the code has been authorised the user is now validated and can begin their online appeal.
If the user has entered an incorrect code the following error message will display and the user will be unable to proceed.
Postcode Validation (UK Postcodes Accepted)
In order to allow users who do not have a Northern Irish address, the postcode validation has been updated to accept all UK postcodes by manual entry.
DEF75 - Multi File Upload Option - Late Response Screen
The 'Late Response' screen will be displayed when an MRN (Mandatory Reconsideration Notice) is older than 1 month.
A multi file upload facility has been added to this screen.
Late Response Screen
Summary Screen
Uploaded files/evidence will be displayed in the summary page.
Admin
These files and information will be stored and available for admin to view under the 'Time' section of the appeal details.
DEF76 - Address Country Dropdown List
When entering an address manually, the user can now select their 'Country' by using a pre-populated Civica dropdown list of countries.
Citizen Portal
New Static Data Item - 'Countries List'
DEF77 - PDF Generation Upon Submission of an Appeal
Upon submission of an appeal, a pdf version will now be automatically generated.
Admin
This will be recorded in the Action History Tab and the document will be available for download.
Public
The citizen will also receive an email after submission containing this pdf document which they can keep as record.
DEF78 - Other Parties Free Text Data displayed on Summary
An additional column 'Other Details' has been added to the 'Other Parties' grid on the summary page.
This column will display any optional free text which has been entered against another party during completion of Step 2 - About the other person(s) involved.
