Emails

For further information about managing and updating email templates, please refer to the platform Template Administration user guide.


Templates

The following templates are configured against the CPD Service and are managed and maintained via its Email Templates manager.

WR WorkRequestSubmitPublic Issued to applicant on submission of Work Request
WR WorkRequestSubmitAdmin Issued to configured Admin mailbox when Work Request is received
WR WorkRequestIssuedToTeam Issued to configured team email(s) when Work Request is issued to a team
DAC WorkRequestSubmitPublicDac Issued to applicant on submission of DAC
DAC WorkRequestSubmitAdminDac Issued to configured Admin mailbox when DAC is received
WREX WorkRequestSubmitPublicWrex Issued to applicant on submission of WREX
WREX WorkRequestSubmitAdminWrex Issued to configured Admin mailbox when WREX is received
WREX WorkRequestIssuedToTeamWrex Issued to configured team email(s) when WREX is issued to a team

Editing templates

  • From the Service List CPD Service List

  • Click Email Templates to display your configured emails CPD Email List

  • Click Edit button to open the template to update CPD Edit Email

Make your changes to the email body text and click the Save button to complete the update.

Once saved, the changes will take effect immediately – therefore any emails issued by the service from this point onwards will contain the changes saved by the TemplateAdmin.

Important Note: DO NOT update text which appears between curly braces as it is a variable which will be replaced by real data when the email is sent. The parameters that have been set up for your email templates are:

  • {nameOfContact} - applicants full name
  • {url} - url configured in the 'Url' static data setting
  • {projectTitle} - project title as specified in the work request
  • {workRequestUrlToSHow} - link which is sent to the team to access their assigned WR/WREX applications
  • {businessKey} - request refence
