Templates

Note

This feature is only available to users with a TemplateAdmin role.

The Desk Booking service uses configurable templates which can be managed and maintained by a user with the TemplateAdmin role.

Email Templates

The following automated email templates are currently configured for the Desk Booking service.

Template Name Description
DeskBookingConfirmation Upon making a booking, is issued to the email address supplied in booking details
DeskBookingCancellation Upon cancelling a booking, is issued to the email address supplied in booking details

Email template placeholders

The following placeholders are available to use in email templates

Placeholder Description
{bookingRef} Will be replaced with a Booking ID generated by the system
{buildingName} Will be replaced with the Building Name selected on booking
{bookings} Will be replaced with the details of the booking; these include the Floor, Desk ID, Day, Date and Time of the booking
{tellUsLinkName} System adds this merge field to the template when the static data setting Enable Tell Us is enabled. This will then be replaced with link text configured in Email Link Name & url configured in Feedback Link.

The following example email shows merge fields replaced with booking data:
