About The TellUs User Guide

This documentation covers all aspects of the new tell us user guides, and will be updated periodically as changes and new features are introduced.

Two types of user portals exist within the TellUs, and as such the guides are segregated accordingly:

  1. Public User Portal.
  2. Admin User Portal,

The TellUs Public Portal

When the Public Portal functionality is fully configured Public Users are able to:

  1. Select an embedded URL,
  2. Complete a TellUs response form:
    1. Indicate their query type via a configurable dropdown list,
    2. Add/include an file attachments within their communications and requests,
  3. Submit a response form,
  4. Receive email confirmation that their request was issued.

If Public users have received a query back from an Admin, Public users can:

  1. Read Admin messages
  2. Respond to admin messages
  3. Save any Admin information attachments,
  4. Respond back to Admin messages with additional attachments (if ability is configured by the Admin).

The TellUs Admin Portal

An Admin TellUs user has the ability to:

  1. View Public TellUs queries via a dashboard overview,
  2. Create new TellUs Transaction types,
  3. Reuse exiting TellUs transactions by Cloning and changing aspects,
  4. Issues messages in responses to Public TellUs queries,
  5. Include attachments within Public responses,
  6. Mark public queries as complete/ended,
  7. Allocate Customer queries to specific users,
  8. Administer the configuration of the actual service:
    1. View MI,
    2. View and Change system emails,
